FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Restaurant week is an eleven-day celebration of South Carolina cuisine
From fine to casual dining, participating restaurants will feature special menus items, promotions and discounts.
There are a total of three restaurants in Florence participating in restaurant week this year
Lizard Thicket on West Palmetto Street in Florence is no stranger to the event. The restaurant has special deals inside and on its bill board.
The Grille at the Hilton Garden Inn on Hospitality Boulevard in Florence is also taking part with signature dishes and a menu full of items.
And Julia Belle’s on West Lucas Street opened its doors a year ago and is joining the event for the very first time.
“I think you’re going to see next year that there is going to be a lot more businesses participating when word gets out what a wonderful chance this is for businesses to promote their restaurants and as the community will come and support the businesses other places are going to see that this is something they’re going to want to do in the future as well,” said owner of Julia Belle’s Fran Snell.
The owner of Julia Belle’s says restaurant week is a win-win for both the restaurants and customers so her business will be participating year round.
