SUMTER, S.C. (AP) – Police in Sumter are searching for a missing mother of two after her young children were found at her mobile home.
Police said in a release that the children, ages 2 and 5-weeks-old, were found unharmed on Friday night after officers responded to a domestic disturbance call.
Police are looking for the children’s mother, 27-year-old Shardae Davis.
Investigators say that they were told by neighbors it is unlikely that Davis would have left the children alone.
Police say they are questioning a man in connection with her disappearance.
