Horry County police are investigating a kidnapping and robbery case.
According to a police report, a suspect approached a woman outside the Food Lion on Highway 17 in Little River last Thursday. The suspect had a gun and demanded the woman go into the Food Lion to get money. The suspect then forced the woman into her vehicle and had her drive around “all through the night making several stops to get more money.”
Later the suspect released the woman who then drove home and contacted police.
So far no arrests in this case.
