OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Oklahoma City police are searching for a gunman who was caught on surveillance video trying to rob a convenience store and threatening to shoot and kill the store clerk.
Instead of handing over the money, the store clerk decided to do something else.
“The clerk actually armed himself with a tire iron and began swinging it and throwing it at him,” said OKCPD MSgt. Gary Knight.
“I was just scared, you know, because he said, ‘Give me money. Give me money. I kill you. Give me money,’” said Tho Banh, the store clerk.
After a few minutes, the suspect gave up and ran out of the store.
“I hope the police catch him,” Banh said.
