BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – A two-vehicle accident killed one man in Marlboro County Wednesday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The agency says the collision happened on US-15 and Highway 912 around 11:15 a.m. Investigators say a pickup truck pulled out in front of a tractor trailer and the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the pickup truck died, according to SCHP. Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown identified the man as George Edwards, of Marlboro County.
SCHP says Edwards was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.
