LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – Two people were seriously injured and a third victim was killed in a car crash that happened on Khan Drive in Lumberton Thursday morning.
Captain Terry W. Parker with Lumberton police says the crash occurred at 10:03 a.m. on Khan Drive near the intersection of Liberty Hill Road. Jannette Ramos, 25, of Orrum, NC, was killed in the wreck.
Ramos was traveling south on Khan Drive when she drove into the path of a 2012 Cadillac and the vehicles collided, Captain Parker explains. The driver and passenger of the Cadillac were severely injured, but Captain Parker says the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
