As 2019 approaches, Goodwill is asking people to consider clearing out the clutter in their homes by making a New Year’s donation.
Goodwill locations will be open Tuesday to accept clothing and household items.
“A lot of people now are making their New Year’s resolutions. We would like for them to make a resolution of, let’s just say, de-clutter and donate, that would be great, we would love to see that,” says Jamie Streater, District Manager for Palmetto Goodwill.
The past few days, just ahead of the new year, have been good for Goodwill.
In fact, they normally get about as many items in two or three days as in a normal month.
