Two people have been charged in relation to a shooting in Robeson County.
Nicholas Locklear, 20, of Chris Rd. in the Lumber Bridge area, turned himself in to investigators at the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, according to a post on Robeson County Sheriff Burnis Wilkins’ Facebook page. Locklear’s arrest is in relation to a shooting that happened on Rennert Rd. in the Shannon area on December 26.
Locklear is charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle and felony conspiracy, the post says. He was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center with a $50,000 secured bond.
Kevin Hagens, Jr., 22, of Billy Ray Dr. in the Shannon area, turned himself in to investigators around 7:20 p.m. on December 29, the post also says. He is charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle and was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center with a $250,000 bond.
Sheriff Wilkins confirmed to News13 that these two arrests are related to the same incident.
Hagens, Jr. was previously arrested earlier in December for allegedly stealing and then selling dozens of cattle in Smithfield.
