WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) – A Winston-Salem man has been arrested on a bigamy charge after authorities say they determined that he had two wives.
Meredith Diaz tells WGHP-TV that she discovered her husband, Keith Diaz, was still married after reading conversations she says her husband had with another woman online. Meredith Diaz says she alerted authorities about the matter in September.
An arrest warrant says Keith Diaz was arrested Monday on one count of felony bigamy.
The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office says investigators found that the suspect had married an unidentified woman in 2011 before marrying Meredith Diaz in 2014.
It is unclear whether Keith Diaz has an attorney.
