GRESHAM, SC (WBTW) – This weekend, many in Marion County will be paying attention to the Great Pee Dee River.
A flood warning went into effect again Wednesday.
On Thursday, News13 was in Gresham were some residents continuing to deal with flooding.
As of Wednesday morning the Great Pee Dee River reached 21 feet, with flood stage being 19 feet.
The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday, but could increase again with more rain.
Chief Meteorologist Frank Johnson says the river is in minor flood stage right now, and the river level is falling.
However, good chance rain is possible Monday and Tuesday, which could lead to more flooding.
