Horry County first responders welcomed a five-year-old boy back to school on Wednesday after a cancer battle.
“After a tough battle with cancer, 5-year-old Jayden had his first day of kindergarten at Lakewood Elementary today,” Horry County Fire Rescue said in a tweet. “He’s a big fan of police officers and fire trucks, and we were so glad to be there for his ‘welcome home.’”
