FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florida Senator Marco Rubio was back in Florence on Monday where he spoke in front of a large amount of supporters at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center.
He was also accompanied on stage by Congressman Trey Gowdy and Senator Tim Scott
Rubio is currently third in the South Carolina polls. Also, he had a town hall Monday tonight in Lexington.
“We felt great about the debate on Saturday night so that’s helped. All of our events have exponentially since then. We feel real good about the wind at our back so we’ll see where it leads. I know we are leaving here with delegates. We want to leave with as many as possible,” he said.
He’ll be in North Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.
