WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) – Police in Northern Virginia say a domestic dispute turned to gunfire that killed one police officer and wounded two others.

A county leader says a civilian woman was also killed. Prince William County police say Officer Ashley Guindon (GWIN’-duhn) was sworn in Friday after rejoining the department she served with previously.

A suspect in custody is described as a member of the military and is due in court tomorrow. A prosecutor plans to seek capital murder charges.
