Florence Police are searching for a man they say was involved in the armed robbery of a credit union on Friday.
The incident happened late Friday afternoon and involved a man who came into the credit union with a gun, Florence Police said.
Major Carlos Raines of Florence Police told News13 that the man with a gun entered the Florence Dupont Federal Credit Union on South Cashua Drive at 5 pm.
A customer in the credit union was told to sit down by the suspect. Two workers were ordered to put money in a bag.
Police released photos of the suspect, who was wearing a camouflaged jacket with hoodie.
Raines said the man was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 230 pounds and is believed to be in his 30s. The man was wearing khaki pants with the camouflaged jacket.
Police are also looking for a 2000 silver 2 door Honda Accord, which they believe was connected in some way to the robbery.
