Metro police arrested a man late Friday after they said he burglarized an apartment in the Gulch.
According to an arrest affidavit, Anthony Ervin, 31, walked into an unlocked unit at the “Velocity in The Gulch” apartments.
The victim told police when he got home, he noticed some of his belongings were missing.
Police said the victim then noticed a suspicious man in the parking garage wearing his shoes.
The victim was able to hold the suspect there until police arrived.
Ervin told officers he made himself a frozen TV dinner in the victim’s apartment and drank two Cokes.
Police said the suspect also left his brown cowboy boots in the apartment.
Ervin is charged with aggravated burglary.
