GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – A Georgetown County man was arrested Monday after police said he sexually assaulted a boy more than 7 years ago.
According to Georgetown County Sheriff’s incident report, Tarl Bradford Rollings, 38, lured a young boy into his home 7-8 years ago and sexually assaulted him.
The victim, who is now a teenager, disclosed the assault to a counselor earlier this year, the report said.
The boy told police he did not tell anyone about the incident earlier because he was afraid he’d get in trouble, the report said.
Rollings is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 11. He remains in custody at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
