The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find the suspect or suspects linked to a burglary and possible credit card fraud.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. on March 8, Georgetown County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a burglary at a home in the 300 block of Lakeshore Drive in the North Litchfield Community of Georgetown County.
Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene and cleared the residence without locating anyone. The victim told authorities that a purse was taken from the home.
Just 30 minutes after the burglary, the victim’s credit card was used at the Walmart Supercenter located at 545 Garden City Connector in the Garden City Community of Horry County, deputies say.
Anyone who can identify the individual in the surveillance photographs or has any information on this incident is urged to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 546-5101, deputies said.
