GARDEN CITY, S.C. (WBTW) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol has charged one person after a deadly motorcycle crash near Garden City Saturday night.
According to Corporal Sonny Collins, the two vehicle crash happened around 7:40 Saturday night near the intersection of Highway 17 and Cypress Avenue in Garden City.
Troopers say a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on Highway 17, and a 2006 Mercury was turning onto Highway 17 from Cypress Avenue.

Horry County Coroner Robert Edge identifies the victim as 57-year-old Jackulin Cataldi of Myrtle Beach. Edge said Cataldi died Sunday morning at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center from head injuries.
Troopers say neither people on the motorcycle had on helmets.
According to SCHP, Young is charged with failure to yield.
