CONWAY – Coastal Carolina’s run in the national baseball rankings has come to an end at three weeks. The Chanticleers are out of the latest Baseball America poll after going 2-3 last week.
Among Coastal’s losses was an 8-3 setback against the College of Charleston. The Cougars are up two spots to No. 20 this week. They’re the only team from South Carolina in the rankings. Coastal will get a chance to avenge that loss when the two teams meet Wednesday in Charleston.
