CONWAY (WBTW) – Conway Police continued the search Thursday for two men they say robbed someone on Wednesday night at a building very close to the police station.
According to Lt. Selena Small, police cleared a three story building at 1601 11th Avenue, but didn’t find the suspects. Police also searched the surrounding areas without locating anyone.
There are a few office spaces in use, however the majority of the building is empty.
Police say it was an armed robbery, and describe the suspects as two black men in their 20’s or 30’s, and both between five feet 11 inches and six inches tall. Police say one of the men was wearing dark clothing and the other was wearing a light-colored jacket or hooded sweatshirt.
The victim of the robbery was treated for a minor injury, though police say that was not from any weapon that the suspect may have had.
Anyone with information should call Conway Police at (843) 248-1790.
Editor’s Note: A previous version of this story incorrectly reported that the building surrounded was the Conway Public Safety Building.
