MYRTLE BEACH – Socastee’s lacrosse program has been a varsity sport just a few years, but the Braves already are sending athletes to the next level.
JC Bulleman signed with Lincoln Memorial University Wednesday, becoming Socastee’s second lacrosse player to sign.
LMU is in northeastern Tennessee near the Kentucky border, so it’s a long drive from home. But Bulleman was impressed with the campus during his visit, and he liked the coaches even more.
“They’re different than any other coaches that I talked to,” he said. “I actually got to see them play in a game. So I got to see the coaches, how they acted on the sideline opposed to how they act talking to you in person, and I really liked what I saw.”
Bulleman chose LMU over Coker.
