Lucas Lalonde joined the WBTW news team in 2013 as producer and has since served as a digital journalist in Myrtle Beach.
Before coming to News13, Lucas traveled the east coast as host and producer of The Expressos, an online travel site. Earlier in his career, he was the producer of Mass Appeal at WWLP in Springfield, MA. Prior to that, Lucas served as a director for WWLP’s 22News weekday morning newscasts.
Originally from Massachusetts, Lucas is a graduate of Emerson College and avid sports fan who still enjoys cheering on all the Boston based teams; but is glad to do so while soaking up the sun in South Carolina.
When he’s not reporting, Lucas enjoys fishing, hiking and anything outdoors or on the water. He is always looking for an interesting story to share: llalonde@wbtw.com.
