MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – A second person has died after a crash involving multiple vehicles and motorcycles that happened over Memorial Day weekend during the Atlantic Beach Memorial Day Bikefest.
Troopers say it happened near the intersection of U.S. Highway 17 and Kings Road, not far from S.C. Highway 22.
One person, 52-year-old Thomas Martin, Jr., died that night.
According to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard, 47-year-old Charles Evans of Henderson, NC died Sunday at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center of injuries he suffered in the same crash.
