Horry County Schools announced new principal appointments at two of its schools during a special meeting Tuesday.

Michael McCracken has been promoted to principal at Aynor High School. McCracken currently serves as assistant principal at the school.

Velna Allen will move out of a district position to become the next principal at Conway High School. Allen once served as principal at Carolina Forest High School.
