Two men face charges for a June 5 shooting in Florence County.

Maj. Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office says SLED agents and Rock Hill Police arrested Davon Jenkins, 23, and Patrick Jenkins, 17, Sunday in Rock Hill. Both were returned to Florence Monday.

Both men are from Timmonsville and authorities charged both with attempted murder.

The shooting happened last Friday afternoon on East Main Street in Timmonsville. Medics took one person to the hospital, but the person’s condition is not officially released.

At the time of this posting, both Davon and Patrick Jenkins remain in jail at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.
