CONWAY (WBTW) – Horry County Police arrested a Georgetown man officers say stole a fish-shaped recyclables receptacle from a public boat landing earlier this spring.

According to police, 18-year-old Bradley Barnes is charged with larceny and malicious damage to property.  He is accused of stealing the new fish-shaped container just days after a clean-up at the Enterprise Boat Landing near Socastee in April.

Officers were able to use surveillance camera images to track down Barnes and arrest him. He is out of jail on bond awaiting his next court appearance.

The fish was also returned to the boat landing.
