The Florence Redwolves teamed up with McLeod Sports Medicine for a “Positively Carolina” baseball camp on Monday.
Campers ages 6 to 15 brought their bats and gloves to Sparrow Stadium at Francis Marion University and learned some tips and tricks from Redwolves players and the coaching staff
“Oh it’s awesome you know anytime you get young players and you are able to teach them the actual fundamentals of the game and make sure that they learn the right way is just a great experience for us but also for those kids as well,” said head coach, Blake Maxwell.
A Florence favorite since 1998, the Redwolves are part of the Coastal Plain League.
The youth baseball camp continues through Thursday, from 9:00 am until noon.
