SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) – Police in Wellford have arrested four people after investigators found 10 children living in a roach-infested home.
The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reports (http://bit.ly/1HmHfNR) police said 20-year-old Angela Aun; 33-year-old Kady Keo; 21-year-old Soteit Keo and 30-year-old Linna Tang were arrested after a check on the children’s well-being.
A police report says officers went to the home and found roaches on the floors, walls and cabinets. In one bedroom, officers found a mattress on the floor covered in what looked like urine stains.
The children were taken into protective custody by Wellford police and turned over to the Social Services Department for placement, pending the outcome of the case.
The four adults are in the Spartanburg County jail following their arrest on Thursday. They’re being held on $100,000 bond apiece.
