Florence city crews are working to repair a water main break.
Amanda Pope, with the City of Florence, said in an email to News13 there was a large water main break on E. Palmetto Street.
“City crews have isolated the break and are now in the process of making repairs,” Pope also said. “Water pressures should be improved now for those impacted.”
When asked how the water main break happened, Pope said “it was a natural occurrence, just a split in the pipe which was a 12” PVC water main.”
