DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Two people have died in a Thursday afternoon crash in Darlington County, according to coroner Todd Hardee.
The crash occurred at midday at 2421 Society Hill Road near Kennedy Street and Mont Clare Road.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash involved a Ford and a Mazda pickup truck. Troopers say the Mazda crossed the center line traveling North on Society Hill Road striking the Ford. Two people in the Ford died in the crash, the driver of the Mazda was taken to the hospital. Everyone was wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee is investigating.
