GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – A search warrant was executed at a home on McDonald Road in Georgetown Wednesday after numerous complaints were made from neighbors about possible drug trafficking.

Public Information Officer Carrie Weaver says agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit and the Georgetown County

Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant and multiple arrest warrants at a home on McDonald Road in Georgetown, arresting one person.

Collin Todd Blythe, 49, of Georgetown, is charged with distributing schedule II pills as well as distributing them within one half mile of the McDonald Elementary School, and possession of marijuana second offense.

The search warrant was obtained after numerous community members complained about increased traffic, suspicious activity and possible drug sales at the home. Blythe was determined to be the dealer and agents obtained arrest warrants for him and a search warrant for the home, Weaver explains.
