CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A traffic stop on Church Street in Conway Sunday afternoon led to the arrest of two men after officers discovered heroin and marijuana in the car.
Lt. Selena Small with Conway Police Department says an officer pulled over a vehicle in the area of Church Street and Cultra Road Sunday around 1:15 p.m. After officers smelled marijuana coming from the car, a search of the vehicle was completed, according to the police report.
Officers discovered a plastic baggie of marijuana and a second baggie filled with 20 white envelopes of heroin, the report details. It total, police confiscated 13.9 grams of pot and 5.6 grams of heroin.
Isaiah Williams, 25, of Aynor and Ryan Dailey, 30, of Galivants Ferry were arrested during the traffic stop. Both men are charged with trafficking heroin and simple possession of marijuana, Lt. Small confirms.
