SOUTHPORT, NC (WBTW) – Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the community’s help in identifying a man suspected of larceny in Southport.
The theft occurred on December 18, 2015 at approximately 3:50 p.m. at the Lowe’s Home Improvement store located at 5084 Southport Supply Road, says Public Information Officer Emily Flax. The suspect stole a Nest Thermostat valued at approximately $250 by removing the item from the shelf and hiding it in his clothing, Flax adds.
