MYRTLE BEACH, SC- Coastal Carolina Men’s Golf continues their partnership with the special players of the Grand Strand Miracle League for an upcoming golf clinic.
Coastal Carolina University Head Men’s Golf Coach, Jim Garren has invited 10 Miracle League Players in the Golf Program to attend a golf clinic at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club on March 10, 2019, from 3 pm to 5 pm. This clinic would take place among the Hackler Championship golf tournament at the Dunes Club that weekend and should well attended by participants and guests.
“The Miracle League does so many great things for this community and this is the perfect opportunity for us to do more for them. We get to work with Miracle League each Fall season as coaches for their golf program, but not so much during the Spring, so by having a clinic we are able to do a little more,” Garren explained. “It will be a great opportunity to have some coaches and players from other universities help and get more access to the Miracle Leaguers than just our team. We are always trying to grow the game and every time we are around these Miracle League players, we sense their love and passion for golf. It’s an organization that means a lot to me and my team. We truly enjoy working with these special players.”
The 2-hour clinic will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the Dunes Club and there will be a variety of coaches and players helping with the clinic. Viewers are encouraged to attend the Hackler Championship, free of charge, and see Coastal play some of the best teams in the country. Garren explained, “It’s also the only time of year we get to play at home, so we are hoping for a big turnout and a lot of support.”
