On Saturday night the Robeson County Sheriff’s office, along with other law enforcement set up what they are calling “traffic checking stations” across the county.
According to Sheriff Brunis Wilkins on Facebook, officers handed out over 154 violations that night.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lumberton Police Department, Pembroke Police Department, Parkton Police Department, Rowland Police Department, NC Highway Patrol, U.S. Marshals Eastern District Task Force, and Magistrate Rudy Locklear, among others.
