The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery Wednesday night.
According to Lt. Robert Kilgo with the sheriff’s office, it happened at the Dollar General store in the Lydia community around 9:50 p.m.
Two suspects are believed to have entered the store, armed with handguns, demanding money and cigarettes.
A description of the suspects is not available, according to Lt. Kilgo.
