MULLINS, SC (WBTW) – Mullins Police say a 19-year-old man is in jail after he shot another man multiple times Sunday night over the purchase of a cell phone.
Captain Joe Graham with the Mullins Police Department says officers arrested Ronald Levern Shannon III after he reportedly shot a 30-year-old man several times on North Main Street Sunday between 11:30 p.m. and midnight.
Shannon is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and discharging a firearm in city limits. A bond hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, but no bond information has been listed on the Marion County Detention Center website.
The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital, Capt. Graham adds.
