FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Investigators in Florence County arrested and charged two men they claim were involved in an armed robbery in Timmonsville.
Maj. Michael Nunn, spokesman for the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, says Artenas Lareece Lyde, 38, of Timmonsville, and Duane Michael McAllister, 28, of Timmonsville, were arrested on May 8. Both men were charged with strong armed robbery.
According to Nunn, investigators allege Lyde and McAllister attacked a person in January as the person was attempting to pay for items at a convenience store on East Main Street in Timmonsville.
McAllister was released from jail on a $25,000 surety bond. Lyde remains at the Florence County Detention Center on a $15,000 surety bond.
