FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – This is National Police Week and one local law enforcement agency hosted a memorial service in honor of those men and women in blue who died in the line of duty.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office held the event at the Florence Baptist Temple Thursday. Area law enforcement officers and the public attended the event.
“Definitely a very moving and sombering day and this way we can remember those who have gone before us. You know we unite all the local law enforcement agencies together to remember those who have gone before us,” Sheriff Kenney Boone said after the event.
