Lumberton man dies in motorcycle crash, police say speed was factor

LUMBERTON, SC (WBTW) – The Lumberton Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life man riding a motorcycle.

According to Captain Terry Parker, the crash happened Friday night just before midnight on West 5th Street when Stein Davis, 41, of Lumberton, crashed in front of West Lumberton Baptist Church.

Davis died at the scene.  Speed was a factor in the crash, Parker said.
