LONGS, SC (WBTW) – A man has died following a single-vehicle accident on Highway 9 in Longs.
The driver of a Mercedes SUV ran off the right side of the road and overturned, according to Cpl. Sonny Collins with SC Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning near Long Bay Road on Highway 9.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Trooper Collins.
No other passengers were in the vehicle.
The Horry County Coroner will release the identification of the driver after examination.
